Good Decisions is a partnership-based creative services studio located in Sydney's vibrant inner west. Founded by Lachlan Bruce and Rohan Carter, Good Decisions specialises in design and creative direction across a diverse range of mediums, including records, packaging, branding, merchandise, publishing, and events.
As an art-led studio, Good Decisions prides itself on its in-house illustration, conceptual capabilities, and 3D rendering for ideation and development. This multi-disciplinary, independently owned studio brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to every project, ensuring that each client's vision is realised with precision and finesse.
Good Decisions' comprehensive services encompass graphics and identity, strategy and positioning, products and packaging, event activations and installations, websites and digital experiences, advertising and communications, data visualisations, and typefaces. Their work also extends to sound and motion, showcasing their versatility and commitment to delivering holistic creative solutions.

Lachlan Bruce
Creative Director & Founding Partner
As a seasoned Creative Director with an extensive background in graphic design, Lachlan specialises in conceptualising and executing innovative creative solutions for high-profile events and branding initiatives. Throughout his career, Lachlan has collaborated with an impressive roster of clients, including Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Ray-Ban, Shopify, and luxury automotive brands such as Hyundai, Audi, and Jaguar Land Rover. His portfolio also features pivotal creative projects for Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival, leading branding and creative development efforts across multiple regions, including Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the USA (New York & Las Vegas) for over a decade.
Recently, Lachlan played a pivotal role in the Ferrari 75th Anniversary Drive Experience, bringing a dynamic and memorable creative vision to life for this landmark event. Through his work as Creative Director for Our Friends Electric Lachlan has also been instrumental in numerous activations for Westfield and provided creative direction for the Shopify lounge takeover of the Abercrombie as part of SXSW Sydney, as well as for the Hyundai NDM in Tasmania earlier this year.
Lachlan’s work extends into the music industry, having developed album and single artwork for notable Australian bands and artists such as Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Fangz, and Rose Tattoo. He has also redefined the visual identity for Atomic Beer, a Sydney-based brewery, through a comprehensive brand redesign that included a custom font and packaging refresh. Additionally, Lachlan recently led the brand and packaging development for Hart + Hedi, a luxury perfumery based in Sydney.
Rohan Carter
Creative Director & Founding Partner
Rohan Carter is a Creative Director with a lifelong passion for art, design, and music. His professional career includes five years at Lonsdale London Australia, where he managed and developed the design of garment ranges and the production of the accessories.
Rohan’s diverse experience includes the brand development of a number of custom motorcycle shops as well as the design of packaging across a number of international toy companies.
As part of his role at Good Decisions, Rohan acts as Head of Creative for World Time Attack, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride & The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive. Through his work with these brands and events Rohan has developed comprehensive visual campaigns across multiple mediums as well as holding a pivotal role the event planning, management, web development and illustration for these three events.
In addition to this, Rohan actively worked as a commercial illustrator, creating hand-drawn and painted art and designs for bands and brands worldwide. His work includes branding, design and illustration for international bands, street wear brands and cult eateries including the cult Sydney institution Frankie’s Pizza.
Mike Watt
Senior Designer & Illustrator
Mike Watt is a multi-disciplined designer and illustrator with over two decades of experience. He has delivered design solutions to a wide range of clients, from local businesses to international corporations. His impressive client list includes the Sydney Opera House, Virgin Australia, Instagram, Telstra, Optus, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, NAB, Maggi, Rams, NSW Government, VIC Government, Binge, Kayo, Volleys, Artline, Mambo, Havaianas, Samsung, Single Origin, Bonds, BPAY, KFC, Harley Davidson, McDonald’s, Coca Cola, Canadian Club, Jim Beam, Skoda, Volkswagen, UNICEF, and Woolworths.
Mike spent three years as a digital consultant at Ernst & Young, leveraging his expertise to provide strategic insights and innovative solutions to their clients. His diverse skill set spans illustration, branding, UI/UX design, web design, workshop design, and 3D design. Driven by a passion for creating and a deep value for collaboration, Mike continues to push himself on every project to ensure the best results.
